This coffee comes from the Guji region in Ethiopia, more precisely from the Gerba Dogo processing station, founded in 1996 by Shonora Gata. After starting out in the coffee business in 1988, Shonora passed his legacy on to his sons, Adugna and Morkata Shonora, who founded Shonora Trading PLC in 2002.

Coffee trees grow at altitudes between 2100 and 2300 meters, on soils rich in nutrients, naturally fertilized by organic compost and leaves fallen from shade trees. No use of chemical fertilizers is practiced, which reflects the commitment of producers to sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture.

This coffee is processed according to a traditional washed process. After the manual harvest of ripe cherries, they are pulped, fermented, and carefully washed to remove mucilage residues. The grains are then dried on raised beds, allowing optimal air circulation and uniform drying. This process highlights the purity and aromatic complexity of coffee, offering a clear and expressive cup.
